Rapper 50 Cent Accused of Stealing Rolex and Diamond Studded Neck Chain Worth $250,000 from Jeweler

Stealing can never be justified, but when it is done as an act of desperation, when one does not have the sufficient food, water, and clothing to live, the motive can at least be somewhat understood. This is very much not the case when a famous celebrity, who is far from being a pauper, stoops to the low level of stealing extravagant items, when in reality, he could afford to pay for them twenty-six times over without flinching. True, it isn't as bad as say a $300 million dollar diamond heist, but when it is famous celeb accused, it will definitely make the news.

Now, nothing has yet to have been confirmed, and we can only hope this is a false claim, but in the case of 50 Cent, he and his men were recently accused of pistol-whipping a jeweler and later running off with the stash. The jeweler claimed to have shown for a prearranged meeting in order to sell him a number of lavish items, but ended up going home empty handed. This again, is just an allegation as of now. Nevertheless, stories such as this one do not generally surface without good reason. 50 Cent has been involved with certain individuals who are known to not be quite angels. This might have led, or could lead in the future, to suspicious and possibly even criminal behavior.

The story is that a well known jeweler came to Las Vegas during the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight weekend in order to sell a Rolex watch and a neck chain to Curtis Jackson, also known as 50 Cent. The jeweler claims he was invited to party with the celebrity and his crew, and later taken to see the gym of Floyd Mayweather, a famous boxer. It is during this visit that Marin claims he was pistol-whipped and robbed. 50 Cent and his associates deny all of the charges.

Though 50 Cent and Mayweather were business partners at one time, the two experienced some troubles later on. The pair had worked on the boxer’s promotions but when Mayweather was jailed for assault in 2012, 50 Cent was consequently fired after interfering with Mayweather’s boxing team. Nevertheless, the rapper was one of the most dominant artists present at the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight that weekend.

Unfortunately this is not 50 Cent’s first robbery accusation. Just last year he was accused of stealing from Slow, while he performed at an event the two had attended.
