My fiance purchased my engagement ring (a 1.17 cushion cut fancy light yellow diamond in a solitaire pave setting) from Leibish.

I always knew I wanted something different for my engagement ring, so I went to Birks and Tiffany, which I thought would have more options than your average jewelry in Toronto. I fell in love with their yellow diamond rings, but needless to say, I was truly disappointed in their customer service and frustrated with their prices. That's when my online research began.

It took a lot of effort to convince my boyfriend (now fiance), that it was ok to spend thousands of dollars in a ring that we had actually not seen from an overseas company. However, after reading the reviews here, and watching Mr. Polnauer's CNBC interview on color diamonds, we knew Leibish was the best option for us.

I checked the Leibish website for a couple of weeks until I finally found a diamond I really liked. Right away I reserved it (I even received an email from Mr. Polnauer confirming that it was reserved!), and started emailing back and forth with Aviva, from their Customer Service Department.

We wired the funds, decided on the setting and were told it would be ready in 22 business days. I consider myself a very picky person, and I exchanged approximately 60 or so emails with Aviva. I asked every possible question about the ring, the diamond, the shipping, etc. She responded every single one of them within hours (considering there is a 7 hour time difference). Working with her was just amazing! Her responses were always accurate, cheerful and I admired all the patience she had dealing with me :)

To my surprise the ring was finished in 13 business days! Even though we had issues picking it up, Aviva always kept me informed of the situation, and found the best possible solution.

We picked it up yesterday and OMG!!!! It is truly beautiful! I had seen photos of my ring in their "sold" items section on their website, but to see it "in person" is a different story. Even my fiance was grateful for the decision that we made. He saved thousands of dollars, and got the best ring ever. I haven't seen anyone else in Toronto wearing a fancy yellow diamond ring! :)

I recommend Leibish to everyone who is looking just for the best. Their customer service is outstanding, their jewelry is perfection at its finest, their diamonds are the highest possible quality and their prices are unbelievable....trust me! I really did my research :) :)

I decided I wanted a colored diamond for my engagement ring. After tons of research I found Leibish and Co on the NCDIA website.

About 2 months ago I found a diamond I loved and knew I had to have. From the first email I had about the diamond it was a simply flawless process.

Aviva was amazing she spoke with the jewelry designers to figure out which setting would be best for the stone and my finger.

I have a very small ring finger therefore it was important to have a setting that would look good on my hand. Once we picked out a setting and all the details for my ring I just had to wait for my ring to be completed. They finished ahead of the time frame originally thought and I received my ring almost a full week before I expected it.

The earrings are stunning....the size is perfect, the hearts are bigger than I thought, but I am glad, because I love this bigger size, so their actually just right in size and the color is fabulous I just received them today, the pink tone is actually my favorite color in pink and you can definitely tell their pink and not white when wearing them, the distinction is definitely  noticeable unlike some pink shades I've seen from other places in earrings.

After conducting what I thought was a diligent amount of research on engagement rings, I decided to go with a fancy yellow diamond for my engagement ring. Based on a third party referral (from Ira at truthaboutdiamonds.com) I went to the Leibish&Co website. After searching their online inventory for a few days I found a diamond I thought fit my needs. I contacted Aviva, and she responded immediately. The customer service was impeccable. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner.

Living half way across the world, I had the same concerns as any potential customer; are the pictures accurate, would I get what was advertised, are they a reputable company, etc.? The quality of the customer service combined with an independent third party endorsement made me feel confident enough to go ahead with the process. Also they offer a strong 30 day money back guarantee. They will even ship the stone to NYC for an in person viewing if you prefer. Also they include an official appraisal of the diamond, you just have to ask. After I had decided on a stone, I saw another diamond that interested me. Aviva took the time to compare both diamonds side by side and gave me her honest opinion in the context of what I was looking for. And based on my prior interactions with her I could trust her opinion fully.

Let me say that I was more than impressed when I finally received the diamond. It is a fancy intense yellow oval modified brilliant. My concern was secondary to a strong blue fluorescence listed on the GIA report. Aviva assured me that the stone looked fantastic in the sunlight despite this characteristic, and actually made the diamond a superb value. I took it to my local jeweler where I plan on having a custom setting designed. They found the stone to be of high quality and exactly as advertised. They were in fact very surprised to see the GIA report list the fluorescence as strong blue. So again Aviva was honest in her portrayal of the diamond.

Based on my best assessment I believe Leibish&Co saved me $3000 or about 30% on the cost of the diamond. If you are thinking about purchasing a fancy colored diamond, I can say with confidence that Leibish&Co would be a wise choice.

Recently bought a yellow diamond engagement ring from Leibish & Co. I was a little nervous at the begging as this was the first time I bought something of this magnitude over the internet. However, their customer service representative, Aviva Spotts, made me feel very comfortable about the whole process. She gave me very honest advice and very detailed information about the stones, rings and timing.

I choose the wire transfer option. This gave me a very nice price reduction although is a more riskier alternative. I did my own research over the internet about this company and I can say they are a very reputable business. 
My fiancee and I and very happy about having bought the ring from them. I got way more value for my money importing the ring through Leibish & Co compared to what I could have got through a local jeweler.

Just a tip for people buying from Canada. Even if you buy the diamond mounted in the ring you don't pay custom duties on it as there is a free trade agreement between Canada and Israel. You only pay GST / PST / HST.

I like most people initially had reservations on purchasing a stone via the web but I received a persuasive recommendation from another jeweler to reach out to Leibish and Co to help with my search.

Like most I had already conducted an extensive amount of research by visiting my local traditional brick and mortar vendors, wholesalers and even other jeweler websites to become as well versed as possible on fancy stones.

When I finally contacted Leibish & Co. I received an immediate response back from Mali Wasyng- Gavra (who is incredible at her job) which I found astounding since I was having issues receiving basic feedback from my local jewelers!

Over the course of a two month period Mali and I exchanged countless emails with regards to what I was looking for. Her response time to every single one of my emails and or phone calls was always within the same day even though we had a 10 hour timezone difference.

Mali was able to answer all of my questions and concerns with clear and concise answers that were 100% honest. Not once during our entire transaction did I ever feel the pressure of having to purchase a stone.

When I finally decided on the stone I was so impressed with my service that I also had them design the setting for me. I provided Mali with numerous pictures and details of what I wanted the ring to look like and she told me that this particular setting could be done within a matter of 22 business days. Well, this should have come as no surprise to me but they had the ring finished in exactly 14 days after I had wired the funds which by the way was a perfectly smooth transaction.

Mali provided me with the images of the ring and I was blown away by the attention to detail that they adhered to from the images and instructions that I had provided. They had created an identical replica.

When the ring arrived 2 days later( another smooth transaction) the pictures that she provided me via email although beautiful in their own right could not do the finished product justice. The piece is absolutely magnificent!

Richard, I love my bracelet, the colors are so exquisite, they change in intensity in lighting, in the sun the colors jump out but no matter what lighting the stones are beautiful, the pictures don't do the bracelet justice like you said. These colored diamonds should be expressed in poetry, I once saw a jewelry store named God's artwork, these stones are so special and rare they are Certainly one of God's gifts in nature. When I was first introduced to pink diamonds I never thought I could actually own one much less a nice collection that I have now through FancyDiamonds.net.
