And so it finally came to pass that 34 year old bombshell, Gretchen Rossi, got the man of her dreams and the ring of her dreams – even if it meant that she descended on bended knee and proposed to Slade Smiley rather than the other way round. Rossi proposed to Smiley atop the AT&T building in Los Angeles.
As the instigator of the proposal, Rossi came well prepared, presenting her beau with a ring of black gold encased with black diamonds upon his acceptance. However, definitely not one to be outdone or outshone, Rossi and her fiancé had an engagement ring custom made.
In her own words, “What makes this ring really special is that it has a yellow diamond in the middle.” And boy what a yellow diamond – a 4 carat canary yellow diamond center stone surrounded by an additional 5 carats of round colorless diamonds with a trillion diamond on each side. The setting is 18 karat white gold, and the estimated worth of the ring is USD70,000. Their initials, ‘S’ and ‘G’ are inscribed on either side of the ring.
