With fancy diamond , it has a lot different set of rules. 

I decided on Leibish & Co as it has published the "World of Colors". 

Aviva of Lebish was customer representative that helped me. She was great. Their web chat keep losing connection . So I ended up emailing her and spoke to her on the phone before I made my selection. She is very responsive to email and helpful. 

To cut the story short. I placed the ordered , wired the money and got my ring. Now since this is the first time I deal with Leibish and fancy diamond. The first thing I did after I got my ring was to get it appraised. I do that will all my colorless diamonds. So I went to a reputable GEM appraisal firm (one of the top 3 other than GIA) and the agent mentioned my GIA report is old from 2006 and should really get a newer report as it is a fancy pink diamond. I valued their second opinion. 

I was quite upset. I was like what the heck I am going to do now. I emailed Aviva and told her my problem. She mentioned that she can arrange to have to diamond remove from the ring and can help with getting a new GIA report. Of course I will be responsible for the reseting of the ring and GIA report fee. I am totally okay with that . Aviva arranged to have the NY staff Jean to assist me on getting a jeweler to get the stone out and latter resetting. 

Excellent customer service from Aviva and the NY staff Jean and Roland. 
Look forward to buy again.

I did some research online and I sounded like Leibish was a very reputable firm. I sent an email and later spoke with Aviva Spotts. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. Looking online is great, but seeing them in person is the best.
Also, it was about 32 degrees here when they were delivered, so I had an immediate demonstration of the chameleon effect!

Just wanted to take a few minutes to say how wonderful Leibish and Company is to buy colored diamonds from. My salesperson was Meira and she really was quick to answer any inquiries I had, and always responded to any questions via e-mail. I bought 3 rings from them, all beautiful, and delivered when they said they would come. The last ring i ordered was a custom piece, and it came out more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. I enjoyed buying some new pieces from this company, and would recommend them to anyone wanting a beautiful diamond. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future. My partner and I had been looking for a yellow diamond for my engagement ring for ages. Being in Australia there really wasn't a great deal of choice so we started looking online.

Leibish & Co has such a great range of stones and I fell in love with a 1.11ct Fancy light yellow cushion cut. I don't know if they cut their own stones but this wasn't like any other cushion cut I had seen. There was virtually no dark spots and my only concern was that it had a strong blue fluorescence. I asked Meira (our contact at the company) if she could take a video in sunlight to show how the fluorescence would affect the diamond.

As the diamond was located in their New York office at the time we had to wait for it to be sent to the offices in Israel but Meira kept us up to date so we weren't left hanging wondering what was happening.

Once we saw the video we transferred the money by international wire, which was a little nerve wracking, but it all went smoothly and less than a week later we received the diamond.

All in all a great experience and the diamond is even more beautiful in person than it was in the video.

We will definitely do business with Leibish & Co again.

I am the proud owner of a beautiful champagne diamond! Since it arrived three days ago, I can hardly take my eyes off it. 
Over the past 6 years I have purchased five diamonds from Leibish and Co. My husband and I purchased two stones from them 6 years ago when we had new wedding rings made. Unfortunately, I lost the diamond out of my ring four years later when it was damaged in a fall. I was heartbroken, but after a few months (and insurance paperwork) we decided to purchase a replacement diamond. We looked into buying a clear diamond from a local jeweler, but clear stones just look plain to me now. I am completely taken with the depth and character of a colored diamond. I love the way the color lightens and darkens with every change of light throughout the day.

We had such a good experience with our first purchase, we decided to go through Leibish and Co. for the new stone as well. Amir has spent countless hours replying to inquiries about this diamond or that diamond over the past two years. He is prompt and helpful with additional information each time. I love being able to glance through the website once a week or so to see if the perfect diamond has become available. Each diamond is listed with a wealth of information, high quality photographs and I can use the website to compare possibilities side by side. A few months ago I purchased a round diamond because I loved the color - and the price - but didn't have it set in my ring, because I just wasn't sure I wanted a round stone. I decided to continue looking and last week I came across a radiant cut stone that was just what I had been waiting for! (It was one of a matched pair) I contacted Amir and he sent me all the information I needed to easily return the round stone to their New York office and complete a wire transfer for the difference in price. Now I have a beautiful brushed nickel colored diamond for my ring (and a matching one for, oh, maybe a pendant? I'm one lucky girl.) It was a bit unnerving sending a wire transfer that first time, but all my communications and purchases have been friendly, professional and timely. Absolutely love Leibish and co! I did my research prior to purchasing the engagement ring for my future wife. I was in the market for a yellow diamond and all fingers pointed to Leibish. From the first email they were prompt and professional with their response. (Even though they were on holiday). Well where to start!

In March of 2013 I started looking for a ring for my now Fiancée in my city, Calgary Alberta. As I looked around I was finding more and more that SI stones were the most common at an exuberant price. I had looked at approx 25 different rings which to the end of none of which were the least bit exciting!

A few months past when I started looking online. At first I was extremely hesitant due to not only the price but I like to see what I'm actually purchasing before hand to make a valid purchase. I looked and passed through about 300 Fancy Yellow, Fancy Intense Yellow, and Fancy Light Yellow stones in Cushion and radiant cuts. My price was set at about 7k with possibly a bit of room to flex for the right stone. Mean while, I had also been looking at a few stones at custom jewelers in Calgary. All the ones in Calgary had to be brought in or I had to view the certificates (some not GIA) and was only allowed to bring in 1 at a time to view. I was getting a little bit nervous about being able to find the right one in time for my date of Sept 1.

I continued contacting 4 jewlers in particular from online, 2 of which were in NY and 2 which were in California. 2 of the shops specifically said that I was not allowed to come view the stone before I bought, and the other 2 said no problem absolutely come in if I desired to. The flight from Calgary to NY is 5-6 hours depending on layovers. After 3 months of talking with Ari at Leibish and Co he had reassured me time and time again about their high standards as well as the catering to the customer. Being pretty picky in what I wanted I had numerous phone and email coversations with Ari about numerous types of stones. He explained to me the process of wiring as well as paying cash and the slight price difference in both methods of payment.

By Mid July I had narrowed down my search to 4 stones. I had asked Ari if he could ship them to the NY office so I could view them and without a question he said absolutely. I thought it might be a problem because I could t fly to NY until August 8 but he told me not to worry that they will be waiting for my arrival. He asked if I could put a 10% deposit down to hold the stones and that it would be put towards the purchase which I was fine with.

August 8 I made the trip from Calgary to NY to take home 1 of the 4 stones!!

What a trip! I was in NY for less then 16 hours. My flight was delayed inToronto so I called the NY office to confirm that if I was later then 530pm that they would still be in the office for me and again with no hesitation they said they will be waiting. When I arrived at Leibish and Co office I was greeted with friendly staff. I viewed the 4 stones with a loop and after about 30 minutes I found it! A beautiful 1.29 VS1 FIY cusion cut. It's a stunning stone at a great price even after 2 days off work and the flight down there. Thank You again to Ari and the sales staff at Leibish and Co. I would not blink an eye to recommend or purchase another stone from Leibish. They were great to deal with as well as have great products. As soon as you read this, your decision has been made, CALL LEIBISH AND CO if you are wanting to buy a Fancy Stone!!!!
